Gilly ChaterGilly Chater of Sagacity, originally from the UK, is a professional speaker, facilitator of change and leadership coach. She is a keynote inspirational speaker at conferences. She facilitates in-house and open programmes for leaders and also their teams. Almost all her programmes are a combination of workshops with one-on-one coaching and much of her work is through referral from happy clients!
Gilly was first introduced to the Three Principles in 1997 when she spent four days at an intensive at Pransky & Associates as part of a research trip to look at ‘new’ material for her then business in transformational leadership programmes.
It was also a significant time in Gilly’s life as both her parents had died in the UK within 8 months of each other. The deep insight she had during that time resulted in her parting from her then company and business partner to explore the Principles at a deeper level. For the first year Judy Sedgeman was Gilly’s mentor and coach and in 1999 Gilly brought Judy to New Zealand to assist with the launch of her 3 principles-based business. Since then Gilly has worked with senior leaders and their teams both in workshops and coaching in New Zealand, Australia and other countries.
Over the years Gilly has attended retreats with a number of 3Ps teachers and had a great time attending Syd’s conferences both listening to him and meeting others.
A series of coaching sessions with Dr Keith Blevens and Valda Munroe five years ago shifted the way she now teaches the principles as a paradigm to leaders. After 18 years solely working from the Three Principles with clients she still sees herself as a student rather than expert which creates the space for new insights to assist her clients and lift the performance and productivity in organisations.
Gilly’s home is at Snells Beach otherwise known as paradise (see photo on her website homepage) with her husband Alastair and their two Burmese cats.
